Ashtanga Yoga Frome offer led and Mysore-style Ashtanga classes in the heart of Frome.

Ashtanga is a dynamic flowing style of yoga, with a focus on the breath and equal emphasis on strength and flexibility. Postures are practiced in a set sequence, enabling you to gain a deep understanding of your body and to experience the practice as a moving meditation.

Teachers

  • Helen

Helen has been practising ashtanga yoga since 2010. She has practiced through two pregnancies and has used yoga to help manage chronic back pain. She chose to pursue a teaching qualification in 2022 as a way of learning a new skill she could share with others, and so she could share her love of yoga and the benefits it offers.

  • Ant

Ant has been practicing ashtanga yoga since 2018, teaching since 2020 and teaching ashtanga in Frome since February 2023. Ant is increasingly grateful to all of his teachers and especially to the practice itself for the profound benefits to the body and the nervous system. He is passionate about sharing the practice with anyone who wants to learn and teaches in an inclusive, compassionate and light-hearted manner.
